With no dock on the beach, patrons had to swim to shore, getting their money wet along the way. ![]() The original Painkiller cocktail was created in the 1970s at the Soggy Dollar Bar on the British Virgin Islands. This frozen tropical drink is just as delicious as the original that you won’t even miss the alcohol. So I made this alcohol-free version of the famous Painkiller drink from the British Virgin Islands. Fill a Collins or hurricane glass with fresh ice and strain the cocktail into the glass. I love to make fun cocktails but I don’t always want to drink alcohol. Add 1 ounce of coconut-flavored rum, 1 ounce of dark rum, 1 ounce of orange juice, 1 ounce of pineapple juice, and ½ an ounce of grenadine to a cocktail shaker then fill it with ice. My boyfriend opted for a bahama mama which was really delicious too We werent exactly super hungry so we decided to stick to the small plates and appetizer portion of the menu. So break out your blender and whirl up this easy frozen alcohol free drink. Bahama breezes drinks are on the pricey side, ranging from 7-12 so two can already become a costly bill. The huge pineapple thing is a beautiful thing but the painkiller is usually my go to. The drinks are probably the best things about this place. Interior is nice and the outside seating under the cabana is very nice as well. The food is Americanized Caribbean cuisine. It doesn’t get more delicious than a combination of oranges, pineapple, and coconut. Bahama Breeze is probably one of the better affordable chains in the area.
